Let's Bake with Chef Tom Beckman

Hello all students of baking! Let's make
this website what you want it to be.
Let me know what you want to
see. What do you want to learn?
Let me know at tomarge@rcn.com

For the latest information go to the new Let's Bake. This old site will eventually go away. Really, you should go....now. No I mean it click here now!!!!

We took a trip to New Orleans. Boy did we have fun. We visited the Windsor Court Hotel. There we found an old friend, Cheryl Strasser, a graduate of CHIC. She showed us around the bakeshop. Take a look at the photos we snapped. Click here for the Windsor Court Photos Welcome to fall. It's getting to be a good time to bake. All the spices we can use!! Mmmm! It may be hard to come in the kitchen on beautiful days but it will be worth it! We can have some fun experimenting in the kitchen. Let's work hard in school and practice at home. It is very important that you practice. What time you get to cook at school is just the beginning. At home you can relax and explore what you want to do. PRACTICE! Be sure to read everything you can get your hands on about food and ask lots of questions. We can learn while we have fun! I've got my eye on you! Bread Guild will meet on November 10th, 2002 at 1:00PM for 3 hours. Love to see you there! Why don't you come for our next Bread Guild meeting on November 10th, 2002 at 1:00PM. Note the new time. Don't feel like you don't know enough to attend a session? If you have a desire to make good bread, that is enough! We will be working on Breads for Thanksgiving! These are breads that can be used on the Thanksgiving dinner table. They are hearty and will warm your heart. Come join us! If you would like to join our mailing list just drop me an e-mail and you will get the recipes even if you don't attend the guild meeting. You can still check out the old gallery section until further notice.
